In the thousands of comic book stories Chuck has written there are a few that have never been re-printed anywhere. He's dusting off a few of these lost and forgotten short stories and sharing them on Arktoons. Enjoy these blasts from Chuck's past.

Taylor and her best school friend Caleb live in comfortable and a little rural Frosty, Florida. Taylor is the editor of the Boca Del Rio Assisted Living Facility community newsletter. They’re buddies with local personalities Chance the Alligator and Dillon, an armadillo who loves beer.

What if life was the adventure? Rose has always wanted to be a bard. A musician who inspires emotions by infusing her song with just a thread of magic. The course seems clear. Attend Bardic College in Splendor, the biggest city in the Realm, and graduate their four-year course. It seems easy enough. Along the way to Splendor, Rose meets Bosra, a grey-skinned giant-kin woman who is leaving her adventuring days behind her. Most adventurers don't retire. They either die as heroes or become villains. She intends to enjoy the fortune she's made in the most luxurious place she knows, the city of Splendor. Valentina, princess, contemplates whether there is more to life than what she is accustomed to, when Bosra and Rose find respite to the coffee shop she spends her free afternoons at. One conversation leads to another, and before she knows it, she's encouraged to step out of her gilded cage. Until those who built the cage come to drag her back. A cozy fantasy story.

A collection of autobiographical poems in the style of Edmund C. Bentley’s “clerihews”, written by a highly intelligent, erudite pitbull-lab-corgi-collie mix.

Presented in color for the first time and with its original title. Re-titled to the clunky TIME-JUMP WAR by the publisher, this sci-fi mini series has not been seen since the 1980's. The epic, eons-spanning story features terrific art by my Argentinos amigo Enrique Villagran.

Chuck Dixon's unapologetic homage to the 50's movies he watched on the Early Show as a kid. He describes it as 'A real labor of love and a ball to write. Bad guys from outer space versus the US Air Force.' What's not to love? It also "inspired" the "surprise" ending of M. Night Shaymalan's movie Signs. Chuck is still waiting on his check. Lito Fernandez brings a real period feel to this limited series with his Frank Robbins/ Milton Caniff inspired artwork. We discovered multiple missing pages from the original Invasion '55 story, restored and reintegrated them into their rightful place, and are re-releasing the story in its restored glory.

Technically it's only kidnapping if she tries to leave.
