Snapshots of an American family dealing with the farcical wokeness of the United Socialist States of Amerikka of today, a Leviathan that daily oppresses their freedoms and agency.

On the run from their past, swordsmen Raedrick Baletier and Julian Hinderbrook search for a place of refuge where they can start over. That search sends them through a remote mountain valley called Glimmer Vale, where unbeknownst to them, dark forces threaten the population’s lives and fortunes. In the year 8466 of the Cainite calendar, in the aftermath of a catastrophic global economic crisis, the vampire tribes came out of the shadows for the first time in more than 2,600 years and revealed themselves to an unsuspecting humanity. I like making people laugh & I dislike Woke politics. So I made these comics for us to laugh at Woke politics together and push back against its stupidities. I will stop mocking when it leaves us alone.

Artist Pete Hampton, (1940-2018) was a wildly eccentric genius. He created slide shows of his paintings to tell the beautiful, and terrifying stories of his early childhood in the remote hills of Southern California. This work was re created from Pete's journals and the original paintings from 1961 through the early 1970's.
