Welcome to the second semester of our Sunday School curriculum for Young Men and new believers in the faith The Warrior’s Path. This semester is a direct part two so be sure to have gone through the previous set of lessons before starting these. (link)

So young man of faith, you’ve come through the fire and the rabbit hole to make it here to the birth of Jesus Christ and the beginning of God’s epic trap and breaking of the Devil, that Old Dragon's power. A move centuries in the making dripping in the blood and sweat of the Almighty’s children that has sent shockwaves through the spiritual world to this very day.

There is power in the name Jesus Christ for a reason. The demons don’t shutter at its utterance for nothing, and their hatred for the Body of Christ has only intensified over the years. Like a beaten animal in the corner the Devil and his twisted Children lash out in desperation. Unfortunately, they still have teeth though they’re gasping their final breaths on the spiritual stage. The war is not over. It has been won, but the bombs have not stopped dropping.

The false emperor sits on a throne teetering on the edge, yet he still remains on that cursed seat. Our enemy is still dangerous though destined for the flames. Jesus Christ has shattered him, and will return to finish the job, but till then our struggle continues. Evil is tenacious so then shall we be ever present to stand against them.

Satan and his minions are like any beaten adversary. They still dream of winning. Of turning the ship around. Of pulling victory from the jaws of defeat. God has declared they will fail, and they will, however that doesn’t mean our task is finished. There is no permanent retirement in the clouds like the Boomer generations dream of. No party through the ages. We pass tests not for our benefit but for the Kingdom of Heaven. One day our true purpose will be revealed, and till then we fulfill God’s commands on Earth.

We are like a team in the superball with a twelve point lead against an opponent with no chance of winning, but who has bribed the refs to look the other way as they break limbs and pull shanks out of their sleeves. The last quarter will be a bloodbath. Yet we will be victorious as The Almighty God of Heaven’s Armies has had enough of this rebellion.

Then the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps[fn] and went to meet the bridegroom.

Five of them were foolish, and five were wise.

For when the foolish took their lamps, they took no oil with them,

but the wise took flasks of oil with their lamps.

As the bridegroom was delayed, they all became drowsy and slept.

But at midnight there was a cry, ‘Here is the bridegroom! Come out to meet him.’

Then all those virgins rose and trimmed their lamps.

And the foolish said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.’

But the wise answered, saying, ‘Since there will not be enough for us and for you, go rather to the dealers and buy for yourselves.’

And while they were going to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the marriage feast, and the door was shut.

Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, ‘Lord, lord, open to us.’

But he answered, ‘Truly, I say to you, I do not know you.’

Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour.

Mathew 25:1-13

We, like the wise virgins in the parable, are holding the line waiting for Christ’s return. Expanding the Kingdom until the freaks in the evil camp take over for one last assault at the end of Revelations. We cannot complete the task of bringing the Kingdom of Heaven to Earth on our own. There is no utopia in this life so always distrust those who attempt to bring it about in Christ’s names for they are either liars or fools. Yet we are called to improve creation as to the original commandment in Genesis as we see with the Missionary work and evangelism that came after the resurrection of Christ.

This semester will go through it all. We improve the world though we cannot perfect it as we wait on our saviour’s return to enact his ultimate vengeance on the wicked. The kind of Retribution we can hear whispers of as the spiritual world and the physical world shake at the subtle approach of its presence. Will you be ready for the day of the Lord? Best keep your vigil because things just get wilder from here on out. Welcome to the war son. Grab your Bible and a rifle because you’re going to need both.

And he said to them, “When I sent you out with no moneybag or knapsack or sandals, did you lack anything?” They said, “Nothing.”

He said to them, “But now let the one who has a moneybag take it, and likewise a knapsack. And let the one who has no sword sell his cloak and buy one.

For I tell you that this Scripture must be fulfilled in me: ‘And he was numbered with the transgressors.’ For what is written about me has its fulfillment.”

And they said, “Look, Lord, here are two swords.” And he said to them, “It is enough.”
